The Red Oak Farmers Market is an open-air market in historic downtown Red Oak's Fountain Square Park. Vendors offer farm-fresh, naturally grown vegetables, fruits, honey and honey products, homemade baked goods, preserves and hand-crafted items. The Market season runs from mid-May through mid-October each year. Markets are held each Thursday, 4 - 6 pm, rain or shine.
Additionally, the Red Oak Farmers Market partners with the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital to hold markets, June through August, on alternating Tuesdays, 10 am - 1 pm. These markets are open to the public and hospital employees.
Most vendors accept WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers.
